Biography

Eluide Miller is a dynamic young leader committed to public service, community development, and sustainable governance in Belize City. He is a proud graduate of Anglican Cathedral College, Class of 2014. His leadership journey continued at the University of Belize, where he served as Student Government President and a member of the Board of Trustees, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) in 2019.

Since entering municipal service, Eluide has dedicated over seven years to local governance, serving in various roles and working closely with the Mayor, Council, and residents of Belize City. He was first elected as a Belize City Councillor in March 2024 and was unanimously elected Deputy Mayor in March 2026 for a second term. In this role, he oversees key portfolios including Traffic Management, MIS, E-Governance, Local Economic Development, Trade & Investment, and Small & New Business Development.

Eluide also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Culture and History and is the Focal Point for the Belize Mayors’ Association. He holds professional certifications from leading international institutions and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Sector Management at the University of the West Indies. Driven by a strong commitment to inclusive growth, digital transformation, and civic empowerment, Eluide is widely regarded as one of Belize’s most promising emerging leaders. He is a husband and father who enjoys basketball and cycling in his free time.
