Hero Balani

Biography

Mr. Hero Balani is the current CEO of Finance Belize, the national agency mandated to promote the financial services sector in supporting its competitiveness and sustainable growth. Hero brings a wealth of experience in various managerial, technical, and operational roles working in international development at the United Nations and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), as well as investment and trade promotion at BELTRAIDE. He holds a Master of Science (MSc.) in International Development: Globalization, Trade and Industry from the University of Manchester, U.K., and a Master’s in Project Management (MPM) from the University for International Cooperation in Costa Rica.
